Objective: The Skills Assessment is designed specifically to assess an individual's current payroll competency level or identify gaps that can be used to plan further learning and development. This assessment is particularly applicable for assessing skills and knowledge levels of current and future team members at the Certificate III to IV level and has application to those who plan to or have completed a formal qualification.

The assessment involves two assessments, each with 25 multiple-choice questions and calculation activities relevant to basic payroll functions. On successful completion, a Certificate of Achievement will be issued. Formal programs or CPE activities can fill any identified skills and knowledge gaps.
