Overview
This course provides essential, up-to-date knowledge on workplace sexual harassment. It explains the different forms of harassment, employer obligations, and the policies and protections in place to safeguard your rights. It also outlines best practice strategies for creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace.

The course aligns with Australian Human Rights Commission principles and uses a trauma-informed, person-centred approach. By the end of the course, you will understand the legal framework, the impact of harassment, and how to actively contribute to a positive, safe, and respectful work environment.

In this course, you will learn to:

1. Identify the different forms of sexual harassment in the workplace and understand their impact on individuals and organisations
2. Understand the legal framework surrounding sexual harassment, including the responsibilities of employers and employees under the Sex Discrimination Act 1984 (Cth)
3. Understand the guiding principles outlined by the Australian Human Rights Commission and how they help shape a respectful and supportive workplace culture
4. Recognise your rights and responsibilities in relation to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment
5. Apply best practices for promoting gender equality, diversity, and a harassment-free workplace
6. Promote a positive workplace culture that values safety, respect, and dignity for all workers.
